I did something I would have never thought I’d enjoy doing, now I’m hooked! My sweet husband treated me to a private pottery class and it was one of the best experiences of my adult life. Several family members and friends took the class with us and some good (and not so good) creations were made, lol. When we initially arrived the instructors introduced themselves and gave us a very short overview of the machines and materials. From there, they have us free reign and we began creating. Let me tell you, handling the clay is so much harder than they made it look in the movie “Ghost”. It took quite a while to get the hang of, but it was well worth it. I “threw” 3 designs and of the 3, only 1 was large enough to hold a floral arrangement. The other 2 are more so ash tray or jewelry dish sized, but I am sure I’ll find a use for them. I can’t wait to go back. I have a mug design that has been living rent free in my mind for weeks and I’m so excited to create it. Have you ever had an unexpected & unforgettable experience? Tell me know about it in the comment section. I can’t wait to hear from you!
